To begin we would like to thank all those who have and do serve our country preserving our freedom. Many of our family members serve proudly in the Air Force and we are thankful for all others who bravely and proudly ensure the many freedoms we often take for granted.
We hope that everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend, however rainy it may have been for some...We went out to the lake to enjoy time with Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Brad and Aunt B. And although it rained ALOT, we still had fun!! We got out to the lake on Friday afternoon and were able to enjoy some nice weather. We went out on the boat, swam in the lake, BBQ-ed and roasted marshmallows. Unfortunately, we woke up to rain on Saturday. We still had fun watching movies and cooking. Jackson went fishing for the first time with Uncle Brad and Daddy! By 7:30 ish the rain ceased and we were able to get out onto the water for fireworks! The Rodgers' men also put on their own display of fireworks, which freaked out my kids so I missed it! All in all we had a wonderful time!

You always have fun at the lake. Rain or shine....it doesn't matter! Glad to hear you had a FUN 4th of July!
