Snow on a Snow Day!!

We have gotten quite a bit of snow and cold weather lately!  Due to all of this winter weather we have been at home having snow days since Wednesday evening!  We are enjoying our time home together!  We have had lots of fun playing, cooking, watching movies and organizing.  Daddy took the kids out into the snow to play on our first snow day and I promise you he had just as much fun as they did!  Jack has a snowsuit that use to belong to my youngest brother Luke and some hand-me-down boots as well so he was all set.  Liv, on the other hand, had to get creative.  She went out in tights, two pairs of pants, a shirt, a hoodie, rubber rain boots with two pairs of socks and her coat.  Seemed to keep her pretty warm!  They had an awesome time.
We used our home time to get the house in order too.  We went through and reorganized closets, our storage closet and did a little cleaning.  May not sound like fun, but it sure was productive!  We have scheduled a charity pick up at our house early next month and I want to leave no stone unturned in our house!
So after a great long weekend we are headed to Jack's bro, Braden's, birthday party today!  Can you believe that Braden is already 6?!?!  You know what that means........in just 6 short weeks Jack will be 6 too!
Here they are all bundled up and ready to go!
Jack's measurement shows 7 inches, the official measurements in our area showed around a foot!
Daddy had to hold our Princesses hand.  For whatever reason, she kept falling down into the snow (on purpose).
Daddy had just as much fun as the kiddos!
Milli and I aren't crazy, we stayed nice and warm in the house!
We also took the opportunity to get out some "new" toys for Milli.  It is funny how you get out an old baby toy and it is EVERYBODY's favorite toy...

Whew! I felt much better about my creative bundling up of Reagan after reading this. We used our rain boots as well!
