This year true to form we headed out to Grafton to pick pumpkins with our friends, the Riechmanns! We have been picking pumpkins together for four years now and it is something we really look forward to! We always start our trip by having lunch at the Fin Inn, wonderfully fried fish is usually on the menu for us all! The boys really enjoy the large fish tanks at each table were they can see the fish swimming as we eat! After a delicious lunch we head out to pick the pumpkins! Similarly to last year, we picked the windiest day of the year! The dust was flying and I am sure we were all nearly blinded by the gusts blowing sand around. But none the less we had fun, and left with a pumpkin. Mission accomplished!There are a million things for the kids to do at the pumpkin patch. Of course, we ride the tractor out to the pumpkins, but there are so many other things we look forward to! The boys have the most fun, but the girls really tried to keep up this year! They all played in the sand, the boys jumped and slide in the bounce houses, they all checked out the animals, they all rode the trikes, and we all went through the corn maze! We have a fun filled day of family and friends! We will really look forward to next year!
