Anyone who know us, knows that we don't sit still for long... So in addition to going to The Children's Museum and the pool this week we did a few other fun things!

Here is Jackson at the park in Glen Carbon... Clearly it was too sunny and it was HOT! We went to the park around 9:30 in the morning and it was already 90 degrees! Needless to say that trip did not last long!

Livy could care less about the heat! She still ran, and played just as much as any other day! She did carry her water around with her! Gotta keep hydrated when it is this HOT!

Since our park trip was short lived, we headed over to check out some new books at the library! Livy loved working on puzzles while we were there. They also had some fun crafts for kids that we stopped to work on. It was a great way to beat the heat!

After we made our craft, an animal necklace, Jackson decided to draw a picture of us... It is hard to see but I am on the left with the beautiful hair and dress on!

During the middle part of the week Jackson was a bit under the weather so we did chill at home a little. And we also went shopping this week, but by Friday we were ready to play again! Bethany, Braden and Kendall came over in the morning to play. The boys kept themselves busy with the transformers, ninja turtles, power rangers and eventually computer games! The girls played with the little people houses and, to mine and Bethany's delight, they wanted to play Princess Dress-Up!! Liv was showing off her shoes in this one!

Liv wore a dress that we had gotten for the Princess Tea Party that we attended in the winter. Kendall was Snow White from head to toe, literally, crown, dress, and shoes. Liv got the Snow White dress around her birthday and still hadn't seemed much into it... I am hoping this is a change in the dress-up direction :) I love Princess dress up!!

Silly Girls!! Surprisingly enough Liv stayed in the pink dress for most of the afternoon. Kendall wore Snow White for awhile and then opted for a pink tutu instead. But one thing for sure, the Princess shoes stayed on both girls for a long time!
