Christmas Morning

Christmas morning began early at our house and was equally as crazy! The troops started waking up around 6:30 ish. A call was made to my brother Cody to set the ball in motion for he and Natalie to start over. And Randy's dad and Denise were on their way as well. The kids were groggy, but excited! We got coffee going and head into check out the gifts...The amount of gifts in my living room was insane, almost as insane as the amount of people sitting everywhere ( the floor, chairs, arms of chairs, the hallway...) Truthfully it was all a bit overwhelming for me! The kids got an outrageous amount of gifts from us, Santa, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Really spoiled rotten. Randy did the majority of our Christmas shopping this year and I have learned that I will really have to rein him in next year, especially since their will be an addition to our family! All in all we had Randy, myself, Jack, Liv, Kait, Mike, Reese, Cody, Natalie, Mom, Shawn, Luke, McKenna, Big Randy and Denise at our house for all of the early morning entertainment, and Darryl and Sharolynn came by in the morning as well.
Like I said too many gifts were given, and no wish went unfilled for anyone! Here are a few of our lucky families highlights; Jackson got a Devastator (which is all he every wanted), a Leapster 2, lots of games, board games, Woody from Toy Story (along with 3 other characters) and many other odds and ends. Olivia had a very Princess Christmas, she got two dress-up trunks, a castle, some friends to play in the castle, some art stuff, clothes, books and many other things. Daddy got a few little things but his main gift is a special order tailor made suit, that will be in in January. I was also very lucky and got some lovely things. We had a busy, fun, overwhelmingly tiring morning that finished with a big breakfast!
Early morning snapshot of my babies!
Oh my look at all of the stuff!
The Browns
The Mitchells ( at least the fam that are still at home)
The "soon to be" Carlson Family
Some of the chaos.
A very lucky, very excited boy!
Surveying the scene.
Still sleepy, sis?
Not our best look, but our only family picture of the day...
