Memorial Day weekend was our last weekend alone while our Daddy was in Turkey... We decided to head out to the lake and spend the long weekend with Grandpa and Grandma. We enjoyed the relaxing time, especially me!! Grandma and Grandpa took the kids out on the boat and into the water so I could just veg out alittle!! I was very lucky! We had a great time. We were sad that Daddy missed out... And we know he was feeling a bit jealous too. We also know that the job he was doing was very important and we will get another chance to get out to the lake as a family!
It was wonderful to spend a weekend honoring our military, especially since so very many of our family members are actively serving our country!
