Grandma Jo and Grandpa Mark left early in the morning on Christmas Eve. We had a low key day planned. We relaxed and got ready to head over to church to get a good seat! We went to Church around 3:00 in the afternoon, and enjoyed a wonderful Christmas sing along and a beautiful service. Our priest, Father Joe, always has a special homily on Christmas Eve. Instead of preaching he reads a Christmas story to the children. He invited all of the children in the congregation up to the alter and read them a great story about a mouse who learned the true meaning of Christmas. It was a great way to spread the real meaning of Christmas to the children!!
After church we headed over to a Christmas Eve dinner at my friend, Heather's, house. We had a great time with Heather's family and some neighborhood friends! We got home just after 10:00p.m. and got everything and everyone ready for bed. The kids were so excited that Santa might be visiting our house as they slept!
Santa visited Heather's house and the kids each got a special gift!
Cookies out for Santa!!
Very excited little Liv!
Jackson made Santa and ornament. He left a note so that Santa knew it was for him to keep!
