Our Little Scholar

We are so thankful that Jack loves Kindergarten as much as he does!  He is continuing to have a great year.  Like any kid who has never had much homework, he gets SUPER excited whenever he has something that we can work on at home.  Jack has had two big, "homework" projects in the last month or so, and we have worked hard on them!  Check out our big boys hard work!!
Jack's class is having an alphabet parade.  Each person in class is a letter expert, JacK is the letter 'K' expert.  He had to create a sandwich board type vest to display his letter.  We got a little crazy with the clip art, but he loved his end product!
The Front
The Back
This year Jack's teacher suggested that he participate in the Young Authors program.  All that means is that he creates a book and then turns it in and the books all throughout the school are judged.  As much as I tried to give my input, Jack had his own ideas and ended up choosing to write an Alphabet book.  It turned out really cute and we are so proud of his hard work.  Especially because he did not think about just how long an Alphabet book would would end up being...
His finished product.
