On Randy's last drill weekend my sister and I decided to take the kids apple picking. We have never been to pick apples before and thought that it would make for a nice afternoon! Despite windy and chilly temperatures, we had a great time! We also ended up with lots and lots of apples! Hopefully we will be keeping the doctor away this season:) We had a fun filled day with Aunt Kait and Reese and then headed over to Aunt Kait's for dinner. Daddy was a little bit jealous, but we made sure to take lots of pictures and brought him back special apples! At Eckerts, the apple farm, we also went on the rides, check out the animals and played on bouncy slides! I think this will be a new tradition for our family! Next year we will plan for a time when Daddy can join us!
