What a Way to Spend a Beautiful Weekend!!

We are so very blessed and thank God everyday for our wonderful life!  We needed to continue to count our blessings this past beautiful weekend.  On Thursday our air-conditioner broke...Unfortunately it will not be able to be fixed until October (back-ordered part), the man who was working on was able to put in a temporary unit, but not until Saturday afternoon.  We were worried Thursday night, we slept down stairs with the kids and contemplated what to do Friday.  Luckily we didn't need to contemplate long 'cause in came the AWESOME weather! We were able to open our windows and let the air in, as the high was in the low 70's.

Friday night we spent a lovely evening hanging out and having dinner with the Riechmann's.  Saturday the weather was even better!  We had no plans (this never happens) so we decided to have a picnic at a park in Troy with our kiddos!!  It was the most beautiful, wonderful afternoon.  We grilled out and played in the yard when we got home.  It was the BEST day!  Sunday Randy had to work an event for the bank, so the kids and I went to a park in Glen Carbon, still enjoying the weather!  And when Monday, Labor Day, rolled around we continued our relaxing weekend by working around the house, and grilling out again!  What a wonderful, amazing weekend!!
