7th Annual Rodgers/Riechmann Pumpkin Picking Extravaganza!

It's time for pumpkins!! That means it is time for the 7th annual Rodgers/Riechmann pumpkin picking extravaganza! Of course times in the Rodgers and Riechmann families have changed over the last 7 years so our pumpkin picking has had to change too. The boys had soccer games this year so that dented into our day a bit... We usually eat at the Finn Inn in Grafton ( and admittedly that is a big draw for me...) but the timing just wasn't there for it this year. It was too close to nap time and although the food is great, the waiting area is a stair case, which is no place for small children. So we ate at a fan favorite, Red Robbin instead! It was a crowd pleaser, so all was good. We headed out to get pumpkins on a blustery, and warm afternoon. This time of year you just never know what you are going to get weather wise... We rode out on the tractor to the pumpkin patch, looked around, took some pictures, found one pumpkin and then headed back. We found our biggest pumpkin close to the register. It is hard to wrangle three kids and pumpkins on a tractor ride... Needles to say it was a nice afternoon and our mission was accomplished!
